As a web designer and SEO enthusiast, I set out to improve my abilities and understanding in these fields. This journey has been incredibly fulfilling and transformative, from improving my web design skills to learning the fine art of search engine optimization.
My Web Design and SEO Journey
Even though I had prior web development experience and training from when I was still connected with government institutions, I continued to advance my knowledge and abilities by attending several well-known and reputable training facilities. I gained knowledge of the foundations and sophisticated ideas of web design through a number of practical projects, with a special emphasis on the WordPress content management system (CMS).
I also got the opportunity to network with other aspiring web designers through social media platforms, which helped to create a positive community that still inspires and motivates me today.
I received extensive web design training using WordPress from three training centers, including Surge Academy, which enabled me to discover and realize my full creative potential. I gained an understanding of web design principles through a sequence of practical projects. The course focused on the significance of responsive web development and user experience (UX) design, which guarantees that the websites I make are both aesthetically pleasing and device-friendly.
I got the chance to work on two real-world projects: one involved selling real estate and the other involved promoting affiliate products. I was able to use my newly acquired knowledge and abilities in a professional setting thanks to this hands-on experience.
I managed the entire platform operation and handled digital marketing for a small local store, working on e-commerce tasks on Lazada and Shopee. As the platform administrator, it was my responsibility to make sure the e-commerce sites were operational, user-friendly, and current with the newest details and merchandise. On the other hand, digital marketing tasks include creating and running campaigns to attract and retain customers, as well as using SEO and social media to reach out to people if needed.
Search engine optimization, or SEO, is crucial for businesses to rank higher in search engine results and draw in organic traffic in today’s fiercely competitive online environment. I enrolled in the PinoySEO Bootcamp because I realized how important SEO is and wanted to learn more about this constantly changing industry. The PinoySEO bootcamp served as yet another important educational experience for me. The format of the bootcamp was immersive, combining in-person instruction with practical application.
I received a thorough education from the PinoySEO Bootcamp covering a wide range of SEO topics, such as competitive analysis, link building, website audits, keyword research, on-page optimization, and off-page SEO tactics. Coach Leandro Padilla oversaw the training course and shared his knowledge, perceptions, and successful SEO tactics.
I got the chance to build my own website during the bootcamp and apply SEO to it, which included on-page and off-page optimization and performance analysis. Together with my fellow classmates, I was given the task of working on an SEO project where I applied SEO techniques to the website of RON The Go Tours and Services in addition to my subdomain. My group focused specifically on the website’s “Self-Drive Car Rental” page. With this practical experience, I was able to put my knowledge to use in actual situations, learning a great deal about the nuances of SEO implementation and seeing the results of my labors in real time.
